not finished yet, as usual. its a well-worn 80's schwinn sprinter, outfitted with some baskets i had laying around. the red grips and checkerboard seat were also collecting dust in the parts bin. im going to convert it to singlespeed with a re-dished rear wheel and a bmx freewheel, and reduce the front chainrings down to just one. questions/comments welcome!

I love the checkered seat. Ever look at the Xtracycle website? Great concept, but way too pricey. Just build yourself a kegarator trailer and you're ready to roll!
 
most college kids round here want uphill speed, they use a back-pack for books, silly kids :mrgreen: im makin a grocery getter myself, love the paperboy baskets. also love that seat, one of my favorites.
