Chain/sprocket size?

I'm toying with the idea of using a jackshaft on my next build. I will be using 1/8"x1/2" chain, and need two small sprockets. I'm thinking it might be much easier to look outside of the bicycle world for sprockets.

Is 1/8" x 1/2" chain the same size as any of the "Industry Chain" sizes?
