Received the stand as a gift, worked ok for a while and then broke in a catastrophic fashion. Decided to build a new headpiece clamp while saving for a Parks stand.
The breakage

Head clamp rebuilt using some of old pieces

Works fine, need to do some detail work on it. Stay away from cheap chinese stands. Regards Craig

Love the new clamp, were those blue rubber pieces on your original clamp or did they come from somewhere else?

I have a Park stand and then 2 homemade units I made before getting the Park. I'd like to find some rubber feet for angle iron like you have there.

Hi yooth, blue rubber pieces came from the broken plastic clamp. I reused those and bolt/cam assy in the new fabrication. I think park sells replacements for their stands

The protector on my Park starting falling off. I used a road bike tube to secure it by tying a knot on the back side. I imagine if you get creative with some bike tubes, you could figure something out.
