One of Santa's little helpers told about the next Choppernite coming up.....Sounds like a good one too!

"The Nightmare Before Christmas Toy Run"

Put on your best costume, decorate your Bicycle and bring a Toy!

It's being held Wednesday, December 19th.
Riders will be meeting at 7:00pm at Southern Blvd. and the Intracoastal.
The ride will leave at 7:30pm sharp.

This is a 6-7 mile round trip ride through downtown West Palm.
We will stop at the midway point at the Fountain at the east end of Clematis.
That is where we will donate all the Toys to the one and only "Jack the Bike Man". (He's quite famous, google 'em!)

Along with donating the toys, there will be a raffle to win a Brand New Cruiser donated by a local Bike shop, and a prize for the best "Nightmare Before Christmas" Costume.

* This is a ride at your own risk outlaw bicycle event with no supervision, Flori-duh law does require a headlight and tail light and helmets for those 15 years old and younger.

* * Please be courteous of other riders and obey the traffic laws, don't be a Gomer and ruin it for everyone

* * * Pass this along to your friends, let's see if The Freakbike Militia can break the 200 Riders mark!!

As you all know, next week is the Nightmare Before Christmas Toy Run.

Two things to keep in mind for the ride.

1- There will be a trailer ( a cool one too!) to transport all the toys to the fountain, so don't worry about having to carry a present on your bike.

2- There is an "Open Container" law in the city of West Palm Beach.
We spoke with an Officer after the last ride and they let me know that the City has been looking the other way while we are there, but with more and more riders showing up, they may have to start enforcing that law.
Please, if you bring something to drink, have it in a plain cup or container, and if you see someone with a can or bottle, mention to them that they need to keep it on the down low.
We don't want to lose Choppernite over a Miller Lite!

3- The yellow line rule, dangerous and dumb, yet a lot of riders do it....this will shut the ride down real quick as well, if you see anyone riding against traffic on the other side of the yellow line....call them on it!!!!!!!

4- Okay that's enough blabbin'

5- Don't forget your costume!

Thanks and see ya there.

Thanks Randy....Lemme know when you are ever down this way and we'll do one just for you!!! :D
