    Good job!
Is that a different bluing from the rest of the bike? The seat looks like SUPER BLUE and the frame looks more like PERMA BLUE. :39:

After a brief discussion with myself, I decided to cover the seat. It will probably be a little more comfortable with a little cushion.

I'm jealous. I went searching for non-nickel plated brass nipples, and came up empty. Love the look of yours.

I was able to find a chain guard I've been looking for on ebay. The front bracket isn't going to work on my frame so I'm having to fabricate one that will. Here are some before and after shots. I hated to take the original paint off, but I needed it to match the rest of the bike.

Looks great Dan. Looking forward to seeing how you remake the bracket to fit this frame.

Over the weekend I was able to fabricate a new bracket for my chain guard. The first attempt didn't go so well. The piece that connects to the frame was about 20 degrees off.
It hung lower than it was supposed to, so I had to start over. Same with the piece that holds it together. Compound curves and bends can be a little tricky. After some head scratching and reworking the angles, I finally got it to fit right.

I picked up some cool wood block pedals on eBay. A couple more parts and this one will be finished.

The brass color is just bad light in the photograph. The pictures of the chain guard above the ones with bracket are more of what the actual color is.
