Custom wheels

So... I'm starting my first build. I'm building a stretch crusier with triple tree forks and 26" wheels. The thing is that l'm not interested in regular plain old spoke wheels. I'm looking for something more eye catching like something you would see on a custom motorcycle. So, I'm just wondering if anyone has done custom wheels and can give me any tips/ideas or if anyone knows where I can purchase some custom wheels?

If you look up exotic spoke patterns on wheel building sites, you might find something you like that you can build. If you mean more solid spoke wheels, the only ones I know of are really expensive or cheap and clunky.
