First time attempt at a build off bike. Long time hot rodder recently bit by the bicycle bug. Going to attempt a muscle bike inspired build using a few unlikely freebie bikes and see what I can come up with! This seems like a really neat competition and is an outstanding outlet for creativity and bad assery! Looking forward to it

Starting with a 26 inch ladies beach cruiser and a huffy 20 inch " sea star". I want to start with an unlikely candidate and liked the fact that they were free and the straighter lines of the sea star. The plan is to put the 26 inch fork on the 20 inch frame and then a 16 inch front wheel to get the porportions headed in a muscle bike direction.

Welcome to RRB! Great place to hang out and have a good time. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Thank you sir ! Have been buying up some vintage bikes this year , a few to ride , a few to take to car shows on my old truck etc. A friend gave me these two non vintage bikes and I thought lemme see what I can create! Looks like a great group and a good resource as well.

Sounds like you're officially bit by the bug...:D

When you post your pics you can hit the full image button so it just shows up instead of the thumb. Thumbs are nice if you have a bunch of pics though.

That's going to be a unique and classy color combo!

Thank ya! Added red flake to the purple last night. It's beautiful but not sure if it is gonna work with the bronze yet. Shall see later tonight when I get the chance

Got the frame and fork under some clear coat and the nice mailman brought me some fresh white grips and a whitewall rear slick! The paint likes to flip from purple to red alot in the sun. Simple Mopar purple base with red metalflake added before the clear. Very pleased , especially taking time and $$ into consideration. Built not bought. Dazed and confused!!

I would just quote the phrase from my favorite character from the game Borderlands - "Ooh, shiny!"
