A straight edge with a t on it would suffice. There is a T that is used in T-shirt printing that would suffice, and it’s only $39.99 USD.
I already had mine LOL The T slides. Essential for printing T shirts!My "T-square" consists of a 89¢ wooden yardstick with about six inches lopped off one end and glued back, perpendicular to the spine. It's been plenty large enough and sufficiently accurate.
And this way costs you nothingI just close one eye and line it up to the crown of the fork. Usually close enough.
