Thought I’d create a gallery of my past and current bikes.
In no particular order of build:
The ‘Fat Belly Bobber’ (parted out to other builds):
This was my first build after joining RRB back in 2009. It’s a 1990s Huffy Santa Fe (precursor to the Cranbrook). It went through several versions.
V1:

V2: added Worksman fork, ‘tank’ plates and Huffy Decals

V3: new bars/grips, headlight/tail light, double armed kickstand

V4: tried some cream Thick Bricks

V5: added a flipped Rat Trap springer, swapped the front wheel to a 26” and ran Kenda Kraze 24x3 rear/26x2.125 front

V6: swapped out the wheelset with a set of Worksman rims with a Nexus 3sp coaster and brown Fat Franks
Can’t find a pic (stupid Photobucket..) if/when I do I’ll post it

The Tybee Siren:
Built for my wife, it’s a 24” 1950 Monark.
Current version:

The Sara Kate:
Built for my daughter and a RRBBO entry, it’s a 1972 Schwinn Lil Chik with a modified baby OCC Stingray fork,a 26” ladies tank and a Nexus 3sp coaster.
Current version:

BMX Fat Bike (for sale):
Walmart Mongoose Beast with some BMX touches.
Current version:

Toadmaster:
1946 CWC Roadmaster with original paint/patina, the Worksman Nexus 3sp wheelset and Fat Franks from the Fatbelly, Brooks B72, front fender from a girls Hawthorne and a 1937 CWC rear rack with green Delta tail light. Love this bike!

Christmas bike:
Building this as a tribute to my Dad, it’s a 1956 JC Higgins Christmas catalog bike. It is a bit of a resto-mod with some chromed bits, 2sp SRAM Automatix rear, 26x2.35 whitewall Bontrager Solanas, Higgins speedo, still need to repaint the tank/chainguard.
Current condition:

Amsterback (sold):
1995 Diamondback MTB turned path bike:
Current version:

BareFlye:
1958 Huffman is also a RRBBO entry. I badged it with a AirFlyte headbadge, springer section from a Monark, cream Thick Bricks from the Fatbelly, tractor headlight converted to H7 LED, RUFF leather saddle (new addition), it is clear powdercoated in gloss and matte finishes.

Schwummit strandie:
My latest and everyday rider, a Summit Workhorse built as a Schwinn Heavy Duti (same frame, with a 1” head tube). REALLY love this one!

Phantom-RAY
My never ending custom ‘Schwinn’ stretch, I’ll post the details when/if I finish it.
Current condition:

Big Rail (sold):
This started as a chrome 1968? Huffy Silver Jet. It too was a RRBBO entry.
For the RRBBO:
Looking for a pic
As sold:

That’s all for now, hope you like ‘em!

Awesome gallery.
My favorite is BareFlyte. It looks even cooler in person.
Did you mean for Phantom-Ray to be a stealthy black box? :D

I'm a sucker for big boy muscle bikes, so Big Ray is a fav. And that version of your first bike, right before the cream tires were added. Quite the cadre of crusty cruisers!

Hey doc!

Nice builds here, I like seeing the evolution of that first bike, and the variety of builds you have done.
Cool that you make bikes for your family to use, mine all want "normal" bikes, so i do tire duty on those, and no cutting!
great thread thanks for sharing it!
man that road master is awesome!

Took another look just now at the 'fleet'. You have a really good eye for what makes a bike into a cool 'rat rod bike'.
The Vibe. The Look. The Feel.

It's all there. BareFlyte and Toadmaster are tops for me!
