I am trying to customize this bike. The banana seat and sissy bar (with handlebar grip added) was just put on. Next I will replace the handlebars. Not sure if i should go with some small ape hangers or a wide BMX style handle bar. Any tips?

Welcome aboard!

If you are keeping the knobby tires I would run some BMX bars, they would suit the look and are much nicer to use off road compared to ape hangers due to less flex.

Something similarly styled to Haro Kneesavers would look awesome on that!
