I'm afraid with that much checkerboard it might start to look like a taxi bike.

Exactly. The checkerboard on the seat tube was to resemble a checkered flag. Now I am moving into taxi cab area:

That fender is headed back to the bead blaster. Less is more.
I kind of got that as well, but before you completely get rid of it, throw red striping on it, and give us a show of what it looks like....
" Crazy Taxi Bike " I like it...

Re: Bratz Eliminator 20"

Actually, it's Terry. I only call myself Bill when I am talking to myself. Of course, that seems to be happening more and more lately...

Anyway:

I know your real name and I read the entire post, but I didn't want to reveal too much, that might make me a punk.

Re: >>>Bratz Eliminator 20": bad picture update

Haha, now I think the fender would look better all black!

Looking good, but I might make a little effort to fix the curvature of that fender, but hard to tell until it's on the ground off of that awesome Park Tool bike stand.

*Yes, Park Tools ROCK!

Re: >>>Bratz Eliminator 20"

I've done checkerboard masking on another build (somewhere on this forum) on a rear fender. You did a great job, its really hard doing it on a curved piece! I had bad blead over on the squares I had to peal and reposition.

Re: >Bratz Eliminator 20" fender paint round 2, pg 12

As much as I loved the checks, I like the black stripe better.
Sweet job with your paint.
