I looked at Amazon and they wanted $15 for a chrome 3/4'' acorn nut. They wanted $12 shipping.
That is not going to happen. I will find one sometime.
Glad you like the bike. It turned out pretty good...Kinda simple though.

Simple is good, most of the time Less is More. (unless you are Ed Roth)

I look in my stash and see what I have. what size thread?

Nicely done, bigger is better.

I chop its no big deal. I'm really just to lazy to run to Houston and pick one up.
I will get to it,but still playing with its little brother. The hardware place here said they
would get me one. So thanks anyway. I do appreciate it.
Boomtruck I'm waiting to see yours finished and over here.

hey Uncle Stretch,
Would one of those chrome lug nut covers from a semi fit? They have two sizes, but I don't know what size your nut is.

Really like the way your modifications came out. Bike looks great.

That is an awesome bike!!!!!!!!!!

Great build Uncle Stretch!!

The proportions are WAAAAAAAY better looking now than in their stock configurations.

Amazing work once again.

That's one wicked looking ride. With those big tires you could probably ride it across a pond :D

You did a wicked job making this bike what is should be and beyond. That FAT springer is super slick!
Congrats Unk
