So has anyone used bike frames after they have been through a fire? Haven't got to see how bad they got burned yet, but one of my stockpiles out at my dads got burnt up in a field fire. My nicer bikes that was out there was in a barn that the fire didn't get to.

A buddy of mine had a copper tone Schwinn that was in a fire. It changed color, and alotta grease n rubber burned out. But once everything was swapped, it’s rideable.

Could very much depend on a whole lotta factors tho.

Sorry to hear ya lost a few

In last summer's build off there was a burnt up build.
My very first rat build I intentionally caught on fire, and it's still fine.

I guess it depends on how hot the fire was, as long as the metal isn't stressed you should be fine.

Glad no-one got hurt.
