Hey all, just letting any long term members who used Flickr before direct uploading came along that now is the time to get you photos downloaded and update any old threads.

Here is an excerpt of an email I received today:

flikr.JPG

This probably will not be an issue for most people who used it unless you posted a lot back in the day. (I just checked mine, it is sitting on 2,391 pics, but I posted a lot in the old days!)

Downloading and updating the threads will be time consuming for those that need to do it, but the forum will be better off for it, remember the amount of old threads that got ruined when Photobucket changed it's rules!

Get on it, we only have until Feb 5th 2019!

You have 2183hrs...so, if ALL those pics are on the site...that's only slightly more than 1 pic/hr for the next 90days  ... :comando:

Jason
I'm not sure if that makes it seem easier or harder... :39:

Last day to get your photos downloaded from Flickr!

I found a webpage that explains the easier ways to do it:
https://www-gizmodo-com-au.cdn.ampp...ckr-starts-deleting-your-old-photos-tomorrow/

Much quicker than downloading one by one.

Now I have to start the process of slowly replacing the old photos with direct uploaded ones, I might trim down the amount though, pretty sure Steve doesn't want an extra 2,000+ photo suddenly dropped in his storage!
