has anyone else seen where someone has put an old bike in thier flower garden and used it as yard art?
I found this bike an old murray eliminator 3spd a few years back setting outside under a tree where it had been for many many years it was all original cables and seat still intact but all rotted it is so rusty the pedals or front forks dont move. it was like it was frozen in time so I brought it home and left it as a memorial to the bicycle gods in my front yard!... well actually it wouldnt bring 10 bucks on ebay so then i stuck it in the flower bed and tied a really rust toy wagon on the back to put flowers in. Sadly its no longer mine (one of the million things my ex got in the divorce) but its still there setting proud stuck in the mulch!

If you could get the chainguard and sissy bar at midnight when the ex is asleep then you would have to worry about the sitting and rotting!! Those look to be the best parts!!

Actually if you could get that bike, I would buy the frame, forks, guard, and sissy bar!! I been looking for a frame like that for a while!!

Now that I think of it, I've seen a couple of old rusty bikes as garden art, but they were big balloon-tire things with fenders and maybe tanks. I can think of one in the north end of town here...

HEY NOW!! You gotta get those!!!

the bike layed on it's side in the weeds for so many years the frame and fork are actually rusted through and the chaingaurd is broke. I found this bike in a timber and always wondered if it had been stolen and abandoned. it took 20 minutes to cut the vines off of it lol.
