Garden-Variety Schwinn

This will be my first year entering a bike.
This is a 1962 Schwinn American that I picked up recently. I wasnt sure what I was going to do with it until it sat in the yard for a few weeks. I am building a garden themed bike. I have some ideas for lights, racks and a tank. That is where I am for now.

But I will be planting some grass somewhere on this bike.
I kinda like the idea of sitting in the grass, hmm.
So far I have a pile of old rusty tools and broken tool handles all ready to go. I am buying a welder this weekend and hope to get going on this.

I have been getting inspired (side tracked) looking at pictures of old tractors.

I have not done much except collect parts and get some ideas figured out. I have been working on another project (cigar box guitar) that will be finished up this weekend.
