Saw this yesterday at a pawn shop.I knew nothing about it,but all the hardware is Campy, rims and all,and it's super light.Cables are all internally routed, and from looking up info,it was built in Italy in a small shop, mostly custom tailored to order.700x20C rubber is rotten,so I have replacements ordered.I'm doing a teardown so I can polish all that shiny stuff.I will probably remove the stickers,as many did when they were new,to clean it up and powder-coat the frame if it won't rub out decent...

Cool. Clinchers, that's the term I forgot. Thanks.

I bet if you polish that chrome and wax that paint you will breath new life into that baby. All Campy? Campy is VERY expensive and bulletproof. A good tune-up and you will be set!

The shop that built it in Italy would not put anything not made in Italy on their bikes.Anyway,I thought for $60 I could not go too wrong...

And I just realized its got Delta brakes. Those are worth a bunch too.

Great find just clean it up don't paint it or take the decals off in my opinion. Or you can just sell it to me? Are you planning on keeping it or fixing it to sell? Matt

if you posted that bike in the C&V section over at Bike Forums.net, they would FLIP. And they'd go ballistic if you said you were going to powder coat it.

I looked it up yesterday on BikeForums, but something was up with the server,so I could not post there. They were saying it was common to remove the gaudy stickers when they were new.The paint and stickers are pretty dinged up,but I'll see how it buffs out.
