10. Brakes: All style/design Gravity Bikes must have working front and rear brakes. Disc brakes are HIGHLY recommended,
however not mandatory. The basic requirement for any braking system is that the rider MUST be able to bring

G-Mat

LOL
so is this what happens when you get a podium finish
the standards for winning get upgraded

I think I need to finish a trophy to present to this years 2nd place finisher first
before attempting any other "requirements"

some more parts for the build up
47760225941_95c112a512_b.jpg

The 3 piece cranks are something i had in my parts bin
dont know what bike they are from but they are heavy like cast iron
Which is good for a gravity bike
and I need a 3 piece crank to either re position or remove (along with the huffy sprocket) when going downhill

I will be needing an adapter for the cranks to fit the pedals the same exerciser pedals I was given as a trophy for getting 2nd place last year
thank you Kingfish

Plus some 20" suspension triple tree forks for the front

The part that I really was looking for was the moon snap on caps that I once had on my old pt cruiser

I thought with the disc being 15" and the wheel from the bike measuring out to 16"
(all wheels with decimal tires are 4" smaller that the listed size so 20 x 2.125 is actually a 16" rim)
it turns out to match up quite well

I originally bought them from a guy who had lost one from his complete set so i bought them at a real cheap price
the one on the left of the photo had extra damage so I was able to pick up two more at moon headquarters in Santa Fe Springs for 1/2 off since they where considered "damaged"
Good thing its for a ratrod
I dont need anything perfect or full price

The extra disc i am using for practice modifications
as you can see the snap ring part and wheel spokes get in the way

so some modifications will be needed

Liking the concept so far! Can't wait to see the execution. *awkward statement if out of context lol!

Moon discs are always cool. I never knew they had snap ons.
