Who makes a great reliable Vintage Bullet Headlight ? I’ve been looking and most of them look good but don’t perform very well. Light flickers, mount is junk, body is cheap plastic.
Any good ones out there? Help, Please
Thanks

Those cruisershop lights are expensive for the small mods they made of converting them to run on AAs and adding a switch (which any of us on this site could do ourselves)—those same lights are around $25 on ebay or Amazon. I have the same one running off a 12V lithium ion for much longer life (and cheaper as to get 12V for full power would require 8 AAs and be only around 1500mAh). I did this very thing with a 6500mAh battery (in the small pannier bag) for under $50 total. To fit a battery inside the housing, you'd have to go with something smaller, probably one of about 3800mAh would fit, which will get you plenty of life between charges.

They are all advertised as "for motorcycles", but it would be a terrible light for motorcycles traveling over 30 mph. Great for bicycles, though!
