It's cool how we have found two Hibbard examples, but they are made by different companies, but they both have Sweetheart chainrings.

I have this chainwheel on my Emblem, ^^^ the bearing races and rear wheel suggest it is a 1918 but could be earlier
I think those sweethearts were an after market item or a dealer add on as far as i can tell

did you guys ever find a good reference to this frame because i found one with parts from the 20's (this crank and chainwheel ) that do not belong. This stem is also very early and those are torrington bars. It is breaking my head not being able to find it. I have read 150 issues of boys life magazine from the 20's and thirty's looking for an Iver or a Rollfast add that matches it. ok maybe 50 issues but still

those pedals however could have easily been from 1942, they used wood pedals and grips during the war effort

Couldn't find out a whole lot about my Hibbard here or on the CABE (similar thread there).
Just determined that mine was a 38-39

looks like Snyder ~1938-1941, came in varying levels from a plain Motobike with fenders as the only sheet metal up to fully equipped.

this what i was thinking on mine, i have a motorbike fork here i am tempted to use I was kind of hoping when i saw your frame you had a shot of the serial number. Rollfast serial numbers are a jumbled mess

my head badge holes are level across from each other and it has a bizarre badge shadow though. i will sort it out sooner or later
