Well my other guess was a spike/stud.

i think that answer is close enough to say....
WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER!
the corrcect answer would be spikes to attach the head badge.

Re: honey badger w/ a winner

How could I NOT have a soft spot for this?

Dang, dude....I'm gonna have to think of something cool to do with the front forks....

Looking killer, Jimi

Re: honey badger w/ a winner

didnt get much done this weekend.
the name honey badger came about because i wanted this bike to be a honey mustard(dirty yellow) color. well i picked this out and its straight honey gold
while i was painting it all i could think was goooold-finger. the man with the midas touch
oh, well. more updates later this week i think.

Re: honey badger

Metallic Honey!

Re: honey badger

That VHT is some good stuff. I have been using high temperature engine clear coat on my bikes, seems to produce a really tough finish compared to regular clears.

Got the spikes in the mail today, these things are cool, going to see if I can incorporate them in the build, may not be headbadge holders, but will get prominence.

Re: honey badger

Thanks, man!Your bike is looking good.I like the head badge treatment, too.

Re: honey badger

so, this is the spark that made me wanna build this bike. when i recieved this sprung saddle in the mail my 1st thought was these motorcycle seat hairpin springs i had left over. yes theyre bein used, but where?
you guys are pretty bright/creative i bet you can figure it out. no prize this time :p

Re: honey badger

i guess it wasnt to hard to imagine where those seat springs were goin.

gonna make my own rockers. allthough they may not "rock".
when i originally mocked this up those springs are super stiff and really had little "spring"
so i will probably just bolt it in solid instead of using rocker nuts.
i'm also gonna change the configuration of the rockers to a motorcycle springer style.
keep the fulcrum the same but switch the effort and resistance. isnt science fun!
i'm gonna move the axle in front of the front leg.

Some science is fun... the science you know, and I just make up stuff like you are talking about, so how about tell me what shape rockers I need for my springer!
