Glad I found this place - I like old junk!

Guess I better spice this up...

I like old cars, old audio equipment, old guitars, etc...

I've built one of almost everything - last thing built is this bike. While not a "Rat Rod" in the popularly accepted definition, it does fit in with this site.

When I built it I was thinking "Mid-60's Kustom"...

Details:
Circa 1973 Schwinn chain gaurd crank and reversed sprocket
White marine vinyl seat and grips
Bullets from Moon Equip
Dumpster frame (think it's wal-mart or something...)

Still looking for decent pedals and fork

Hope to have something crusty to ride in a couple of weeks.

ok,
erix

Good lookin bike. I agree that the peddles need to be changed, but there is nothing wrong with that fork.

I especially like the color.

Welcome.. But dude we dont build "JUNK" Here  we build some mean rides man, Welcome, I love ur gold bike shes sharp. See ya round the site.

Peddles need 2 be changed, a nice schwinn blade fork would look sharp.. And that sprocket i got a few on some of my bikes, Is that how ur supposed 2 run it? Mine are the other way, I like the way urs looks better.

very nice. bicycledesigner.com has springer forks pretty cheap, straight or bent. Check 'em out.

welcome Erix.

I really Like The Overall Look of your Build...a lot.

The Black Rims are awesome

..they are also a way under-rated design
style on a Bike....and they look Killer on your Build!

looking good..
That's a Rat For sure!

peace,
Kev.

erix, you about nailed that early '60's vibe there!

old audio...I've had a lust for a blue dial Marantz stereo since I was 14 years old...since the '70's when they were new.
