I just remembered this! I have a green and white Muray made JCH chainguard with the holes for a skirtguard that does not have the pedal scrape so much as your currently does... It BELONGS with this bike. :wink: It's not selling... please let me know if you want it.

Nice bike!!

That is a very good thought, I hadn't considered that. I assumed they were done in resemblance to the automobiles with the metal "skirts" (as they were called) which covered the rear wheels partially for a luxurious, clean look.

I have an old Seminole ladie's bike that has a wire chain-link looking skirt guard. Very cool!
