I usually don't pick up women's bikes unless they have cool parts to snag but this JC Higgins has some of the coolest/best paint patina i have seen... It has been five or more colors over the years and they are all showing... so cool! 8)

do you know what year yours is??? i like the chaingaurd on yours...

If you take, say, a 3-M pad to the Higgins & carefully "blend" the layers of paint the shoot it with a matte clear you may get a very
kool effect from the paint jobs that are already there.Nice scores at any rate. Man,they built those old Higgins like TANKS.I'd like to see the gal who had the "umph" to peddle that behemoth around! ....P 8)

oh yeah i have started to lightly sand it in spots to bring out some colors but not take away from what naturally has been done... then shoot it with clear to preserve it. i wanted a little more blue to show through so i sanded a little more in spots. oh and the weight it crazy! when i picked it up to put it on my bike rack a was a little worried about the ride home
