Ok Change of Plan...I'm going to use this frame instead. My buddy gave it to me last night and it'll be a little better to work with. Build rules state I can change my build once. So this is my once :p I changed the design so I could ride it. Plus I remember RRBB2 the was a convertible...

Chain gaurd so far...Needs Something else though.
I'll be adding brass knuckles somewhere else...But maybe add it to the gaurd too.

Thanks Man!
I was going to take some inspiration from you and do a boardtrack :p
Was all set to order this little diddy from Walmart with a set of red rims and white tires 20" girls sled.
Then I was going to go from there. But if I was going to stick $50.00 + into something I wanted to be able to ride it :)

fair enough, i'm sure eventually you'll find a cheaper kids bike (free)
just be sure you eventually get around to it.

until then, i'm eagerly awaiting progress pic's :D

Sorry man! I was making the board track comment about Dan Jose's ride :)
Was confussed I guess for a second
I'm following your's and Dan's builds close.
But... you already won this thing with the dragster.
Dan looks to be one of my top 3's thus far too.

Hey...What I did with the chain guard was had the image on a sheet of paper.
On the backside of that paper I laid a heavy coat of pencil lead.
(Paint was dry for about two years)
Traced over the letters using the penciled back side as a carbon sheet.
So when I lifted the paper the outline was penciled on the guard.
Pretty much what you were talking about in your builds thread except instead of the imprint the pencil lead did an outline.

i did do a board tracker,(the black motorized bike that was on rrb home page) just not in the build off.
the chain guard looks wicked cool. i've none the same with pencil lead, carbon etc.

the impression method seems to work best for me, for 2 reasons.
1. no mess to clean up
2. the impression helps guide your brush and leaves a nice clean edge with minimal effort.

So, I have spent around $8.00 U.S. so far on this build...
I'm determined to use as many parts on hand as I can find around the house for this build.
All I have had to but thus far is a rattle can of flat black, some brass clamps and a few nuts and bolts.
Not too bad so far...I just have to talk myself into parts as I go...I've also had to talk myself out of a few too.
Tomorrow should be a productive day... I hope :)

She's lookin good so far!
Are you interested in selling that Ross Convertible? I'm looking to hook up my friend's kid with his first cruiser.

Thanks!
I would be willing to sell it :D
I'd take $50.00 plus actual shipping and it's all yours. Just let me know.

Got a lot done today...Mainly mock ups and what not.
I'll have pics up tomorrow as I have to make a trip to the Hardware store for a couple bolts.
