Added the 2019 Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #14 personalized tag. I noticed the lettering seems to be reflective. A couple of leather strap pieces and #6 bolts. The galvanized are temporary until I run down some brass.

Necker knob on a bike? Ain't it kinda awkward to smooch with someone and ride a bike at the same time?

HaHa, LOL. Good point but it’s not a tandem. Also heard them called suicide knobs. I had a plastic one on a bike as a kid. No smooching involved and I kept the rubber down.

A minute late...
OJ is right. The great thing about glass is it's ability to be washed out.

So if you find a spot for this you need a picture of it with some Mountain Dew in it. Neon green just like antifreeze... could blow some minds pulling it out and drinking it.

Carl.

Some antifreeze is orange flavored too these days.

Now that's the best idea I've heard in a while! And with that Psittaciformes on board, it would be a good match.

I stuck the bottle on the down tube to check for fit. The battery tube could move back a bit. The bottle is next to impossible to get out of the bracket, it’s basically spring metal, had to stay in place in a vibrating engine compartment in a former life. I guess it could be a look but not very functional.

The Psittaciformes lives on!
Had to google that one.:nerd:
I had to do a web search as well. I’ll bet OJ did also or maybe he has experience as an ornithologist.

Hm, I would definitely try to put a battery in the tank space if possible - since it provides the "fuel" for the motor AND make use of said space. But this wouldn't work here - the battery is just too small in size and unfortunately would look out of place there.
Also your tank is a piece of work, sacrificing it for the battery doesn't make much sense.
No way to stuff the battery IN the tank?

That little bottle could go on another bike so easily...
Hey! I have another bike. :)
Carl.
Interesting, I picked up this windshield fluid bottle with the bracket at an auto swap meet back in March. In doing a little eBay research it looks to be a GM ‘60s product. Several listed on eBay in various condition. Sample: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/323858676454
I’ll keep you in mind Carl.
