This frame is really like no other.
Just an amazing start...

Thank's I'm pretty excited about how its coming together, Here's this weekends progress. I'm trying to button up all the loose ends as I go so I don't restrict my access once its all welded up. These little details take time though.

The tube shaping and joining methodology is a work of art! I am curious about the incorporation of those cool fenders. Reminds me a bit of the big, rounded lines of a '50s car. RaT oN!

i got bogged down in the details this weekend but they needed to happen before i went any further. I've got the top tube tacked in place now. I hope to keep plugging away at it this week. All I have to do is get the rear stays on and I can put it together and do a test ride. I can't wait!

Well it was one step forward two steps back last night. I got the connector for the two top tubes designed and fabricated and tacked in place but then I discovered my fender needed to be rotated forward for the dropouts to fall in the right spot between the rear stays. After considering all my options I just cut up some of my previous work. Oh well.

Yeah that's the next step and that's going to be the hardest part of this build. I'm looking forward to getting that in my rear view mirror. I took off Monday so i'm hoping to have it tacked up before I go back to work on the 5th.

Eeshh, We got about 5 weeks and I still have the fork, the suspension seat post, the swiveling handlebars, the fenders, and accessories, plus I was hoping to build some drum brake hub wheels with internally routed cables, I need to stop this non productive habit of sleeping a few hours a day.
