Nice looking bike, this looks like about 1951, your truss bars are flipped around and you should have a Delta sealed beam headlight, I have a '52 but with black fenders.
 
Late 40's Early 50's 24 inch Huffman Hawthorne. Got this one from "KansasRollFast" to fix up for my grandson. Really cool little bike!

Here is my 1920's Hawthorne deluxe flyer most likely built by schwinn. Relaced ND model A and model M hubs to velocity blunts and running new Kendas on her. Paint job not mine, but atleast it's representable.
