Can't say I wish I had a Facebook to check out all the Pet and Bike Photos, looks like a cool page though!

I gotta get some decent pictures of the bike and post it up on the 26” box thread.

Small update on my Huffy Colorado. Picked up some SE Power Wing bars for $12.50 from performance bicycle closing sale.
The bars are much more comfortable then the GBP bars I previously had on there. I’m happy with the new look.

Don't know if this really qualifies. More an old mountain bike (minus v-brakes and 14 gears) turned road cruiser with old mini-motocross bars and a Nexus 4 with coaster brake. But I thought this thread deserved to be brought back. 20190811_102931.jpg

I'm thinkin I'll put the front brake back on.

My Colorado laced in aluminum rims into OR hubs believe these Huffys have to be one of the most unique cruisers around not high end by any means

I get a lot of questions about my huffy when I take it around other BMX people. At first they give me the wonky eyes and then a confused look. It's a nice riding 26 BMX Cruiser for sure.

Some updates. I had a sturmey archer two speed on the cook cruiser and it is such a poor functioning hub, the brake was terrifying to use even on flat surfaces. I put about 4-600 miles on the hub and after our last fire road cruise it was kaput. I had three broken Bendix manual two-speed hubs which I got one working. Saw the crazy prices for oem snifter and cable on ebay so I made my own. Shifts good...brakes are not so good though.

The second bike I built up for our for our road cruise in a klunker style with a truss fork, 10 speed drive train and drum brakes, it was cool, you could ride it all day long but you could not really get rad on it. It was hard to input the bike to my riding style and the brakes were bad too, not to mention 37 feet of blue cables flapping about [IMG] so I stripped it down and put a regular bmx fork on it and a coaster brake and wolla! It was a whole new bike, very fun to ride. Enjoy.
