Although not that popular in the States, they were the bees knees in Canada. I want to see just how many of you have a CCM in you stable, so lets see them!

I'll start with the ones in my stable.

Hey Rob, I kinda got a his-n-hers set. Maybe RecycledBikez would be willing to help me out with the pics and info? I'm chomping at the bit to pick them up from him and do a little ride on in his area.

Here's mine and I have a line on another that I plan on picking up soon.

Due to some bad welds I need to find someone to help me fix this one.

Yes they are 28x1 1/2 whitewalls. They were nos tires my dad bought from Brauns cycle in Kitchener.

Thanks, i'll have to see if there are any left.

Haha, theres not, my dad bought them all. The thing is, most of them were dry cracked so bad they were only good for display purposes. He even had one blow out on him while riding. I think he sold a bunch already but the rest are not much good.

hey! I gots a CCM!

Ya can't see 'em too good in this pic, but the black on is a '65 Continental with a magneto generator inside the back hub, and the green one's a '40's era CCM with 28" wheels...

CCM's are what I like. I had a humback 28er when I was a kid and I'm currently searching for a nice one.

RIght now all I have it this mediocre green 1972 thing I found in the garbage. The old man was 92 and went into a home and his daughters threw it away...he was riding it every day until he got ill.

2-speed kickback Duomatic back hub(works like a dream.)
I was gonna give 'er a paintjob, but I think I'm diggin' it like it is!
Swapped out the original bars(which were twisted from some long-ago crash) and replaced 'em with a set of Raleigh Fireball bars, which are my fav!
I've since added white grips as well.....just need to find a head badge!
