I am trying to restore an old bicycle 24" that came in Super Rex models, I think it is German, very similar to the Schwinn. I want to locate the exact brand.

Usually the bikes that were made for export or import were made by somebody else....a picture of the bike will be more telling
as the parent company may have failed, faded, or just forgot! I have a Manco minibike bicycle, nothing on the internet about them!

This bike has a few minor modifications or modding, but this is the bike I need to know about.

I have not a clue. Notice the frame is lugged and highly detailed, I bet German! Nice bike, stunning in pictures!

If it was a "special for Cuba" and German, it's most likely an East German bike. Lots of info at:
https://www.ddr-fahrradwiki.de/HauptseiteA quick glance didn't show up a Rex brand, but I found some hits at:
https://www.altesrad.net/phpBB3/There were a bunch of American style buikes made in Germany, but they all seem to be for export only. The German guys on the bike boards seem pretty surprised when they see one.

What are the modifications? It looks like an Asian made bicycle from the 1980s to me.
