tank for my custom boardtrack bicycle
I made the pieces with foam, then I covered it with white glue so that the gelcoat did not deform the foam.

COOL! looks way cleaner and simpler than what i did trying to use alluminum foil or sarenwrap to protect the foam , and not using gelcoat

whats the steps ? white glue over foam , then gel coat , then fiberglass , then some other gel for the outer side ?

hi, first the piece is covered with white glue, at least 5 layers.

already dry the glue, we apply a generous layer of gel coat.

Once the gel coat is dry, we apply 3 or 4 layers of release wax and after 3 layers of separating film

I apply 3 layers of fiberglass to make the mold, once cured, I separate the piece of foam from the piece of fiberglass and our mold will be ready.

The most likely thing is that the piece of foam will end up destroyed but the mold will be in perfect condition.
