Ok, I'm thinking of building what I will call the MegaRay. I ordered a Red Mongoose Beast and will get it sometime between 4/2 and 4/5 of next week.

Here is what it will look something like.

I believe one of these 26"(21" real length) Banana seats will work.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the Sissy Bar since they are made for normal width bikes. Any of you have any ideas?

Find yourself a pair of aluminum crutches.

Also, make usre you check your bearings. Something didn't feel right with my crank. I pulled the BB and there wasn't even a hint of grease. One of the bearing cups was cross threaded too. :x

I think the problem you have is getting the wide sissy bar to come in narrow enough for the seat?
Would something like the ones I built for my 50 years build work? Made from 1/2inch square tube, came out really stiff and strong, even with the offset bends.

Also that is pretty much the exact seat you were thinking of using, the rear tire measures out to 25inchs tall for size reference...
Seat is just under 22inchs long and 5.5 wide.

The jury is still out on it until the bike is here and I can get my eyes on the situation at hand...

Just make sure to grease the BB and elsewhere.
That's a collector's item now that they are sold out in all colors.
