That is assuming that Steve finishes his!
Nice polishing on the Dana!
Thad, that is one of the coolest handlebar stems I have ever seen! Where in the world did you find that???
I hope your pockets are deep if you do find one.
Yeah Pick, I like it too but-----they go for outrageous prices if you can find one. This one came on a Fleetwood that was in the collection I bought 3 years ago. They were on some 37 or so Fleetwoods. Called a "Putter Stem"
I'm really liking this bike! 8)
That Dana looks gorgeous, can't wait to see what linkage you come up with.
Awesome parts going on the bike, should make for a head turner when it's done! That stem is unreal, and I just love the Dana's...
Looking up at the frame. The brass shift lever is from a 1905 Leland piano. The clevises at each end of the rod are screen door parts from any hardware store. I ground them smooth & had them chromed. The rod is still at the chrome shop. It was made from a throttle rod off a 1949 Oldsmobile. Still waiting for the seat parts---- being chromed.
I can't even find Steve's build??? I must be going blind. 8)
Added a tail light under the seat Added the shift linkage
UNVAILING SOON!------(THE RICK DALE APPROACH)
That seat and light look familar. Is that from last year?
I really did the toilet flushing shifter!!!!!!! Brilliant
Looking forward to the big reveal!
Nope, just put it together this afternoon. Probably not the first to do this.
Me too! I went out and bought some more socks, just in case this reveal knocks mine off.
Wow... cant wait to see it!\
Well I'm still messing with this thing. I like this seat better.
