Hi everyone, I'm new to the muscle bikes and recently bought an old Columbia. From what I can find it's a Super 88 model, and is somewhere in the range of 69-70-71. It's currently all original in the original Coppertone Orange, but The og tires are pretty rotten so I'll be swapping some repro slicks on it to ride. The bike is a 3 speed hub shift (my first hub-shifted bike) and works pretty well besides second being a bit tricky to find. Basic plan for it is just to clean it up and make a fun rider, the bike has some pretty cool patina but is pretty nice for it's age.

If anyone has some ideas on the exact year or a way to tell I'd love to know!

Anyways, some pictures.
All that I've really done so far is pump up the tires, put a good polish on the chrome, and take cleaner wax to the paint. I oiled the linkages inside the shifter and shot some wd40 along the cable into the hub, adjusted the brakes, and just given it a once over. Had some pretty steady rain here in Sc so Haven't had the chance to do much more than a few laps around the garage yet.

Finally caught a break in the rain to ride it, got the shifter and brakes adjusted, threw my headlight on it (not sure if I'm gonna put the generator and tail light on too, seems like a crowded frame), and got my Duro slick and brick set for it. Need a couple tubes and some more time and it'll be a sweet rider.
