I'm getting close to purchasing an already built 'new' lowrider off of craigslist. It's modeled after a Schwinn Stingray frame but for the price they're asking I'm sure it's just a modern cheap knockoff.
I'm just looking for a fun bike to toy around with, maybe customize some more, and make people in the neighborhood talk about (I'm 6ft and over the age of someone who should be riding these bikes). Outside of crappy gearing or brakes making up for the low price, is there anything else I should be concerned about? Bad frame? Bad chrome plating? Etc?
