Picked it up for 3 bucks at a garage sale, replaced the wheels / tires / seat. Kept the original stuff, original fenders wouldn't fit the fatties though.
I'll post some more later!

Yes BR549 is a band, was a band anyway, (http://www.br549.com) they broke up a few years ago, shame too. Greatest rockabilly band in the world. Gary Bennett (the former front man) has a solo album out now though, if you like real country from the 60's he's your man! (http://www.garybennettmusic.com)

I got another bike I need to post a pic of. I built it a coupla years ago and my 11 year old son has hijacked it, you go boy! It's a 18spd Univega mountain bike, been unrecognizably chopped and stretched, he calls it Frankenbike. I'll post it tomorrow.
I built a 12" Schwinn for my little girl a couple of years ago too, but she's outgrown it. Trying to think of something creative to do with it. maybe paint it flat black with red rims and some apes, and a really long seat post? whitewalls of course. Yesterday I found a 26" Hercules 3 speed man's cruiser. I might go back and get it, it's at a thrift shop for $10. I'd never heard of it before, has gussetted frame, side pull calipers, spring seat, 3 pc. cranks, looks worth more than $10. Paint is pretty bad, needs tires, chain, that's about it.
