We drove eighty miles to get them. They were given outside a tent while we were in our car. There were five volunteers outside that passed out forms and collected the filled out ones after you completed them. One to go over the stuff and another to make the follow up injection appointment on a lap top and another that monitored you for post shot reactions while you were placed in a marked off parking lot. A nurse sprinted out of a big tent to our car windows and gave us the fastest injections we ever had. They didn’t need to worry about the vaccine getting to warm and spoiling, it was -11F. The volunteers were extremely cheerful but one had her glasses so fogged and froze you couldn’t see her eyes. She said there is a person under my hood, hat, mask and glasses. We went to the bar yesterday. Draft craft beers were a dollar a pint. This big sale was because the kegs froze overnight in the -20F temp so they were worried the beer was sub par or flat. I couldn’t tell the difference, it was fine, better than fine because of the price.

That's super cool. Still waiting for a line to form here in Canada. Young(ish) and somewhat healthy, so I'll be somewhere near the back. Thanks for sharing

my wife and MIL both had flu-like symptoms from the second shot. They were very tired and felt cold for about 3-4 days. Don't know when I'll get the shot; probably a few more months; no word yet (I'm 56).
