Picking up an older Electra Straight 8

I noticed the new models have fenders. I cannot remember if they always had fenders? This is 24x3 tires front and rear. 3 speed, no front brake, and normal fork not triple tree.

Straight 8 always had no fender on the front and a shorty on the back. Only thing changed is that very early ones were painted gloss black, later ones became matte black, apart from that fenders stayed exactly same.

Okay good deal. Picked it up earlier today, for 80 bucks off of Facebook marketplace. I happened to catch it in the first hour, 29 minutes to be exact. It cleaned up VERY well, and still has the mold flashing on the middle of the tire tread. Hardly ridden at all. This is the before dusty pic.
