So here are a bunch of pics from group rides I've been on in June (besides my daily riding):
In early June, my friend Johnny (riding my SpaceLiner StealthBomber) and I met up with some old-school BMX guys for some back alley cruisin.
shot over my shoulder while riding.
Johnny likes the StealthBomber, wants to buy it from me.
A fun ride with new friends.
Then, for my vacation, I rented a car and brought my SpaceLiner StarFighter up to Rochester, where I had been living before coming to CT.
Magically fit the bike back there with minimal wrench turning.
Met with up with some old and new friends for a ride out on the canal trail.

Karl is riding his grandpa's 56 Phillips 3-speed that he fixed up.
Riding across the Ford St. Bridge
shot this while riding
riding along the Genesee river.
the Erie canal at sunset
we rode out miles and miles on the canal trail and stopped here to chill and enjoy the sunset.
Karl and Janelle do a bike lift
about 30 miles on my speedometer by the end of the day
The next day I met up with the original Rochester Wednesday Night Cruise crew for a rainy ride.
We're hardcore, when we started this ride two years ago, we did it up through the winter, even in blizzards.
Quite a mix of bikes, my StarFighter, Adam's Giant-Xtracycle, Killmore's Puch Fixie, and Karl's Fuji tourer.
We met up with a couple of other riders, did about 12 miles in the rain, and got thoroughly soaked halfway through.
By that point we just started aiming for the puddles.
Then, last Saturday night, Joe (yeshoney) came and picked me and my bike up (which is really nice considering I am like a half hour away from him), and we headed over to downtown Hartford to ride.
bikes in the back of Joe's van.
The whole way from my place to Hartford we were wondering if the rain would hold out for us.
Turns out there ended up being a Tornado just south of us in nearby Wethersfield. Probably right where those black clouds are.
My '48 Luxury Liner is a spring chicken next to Joe's '35 Elgin
rockin the neon from the rack.
no hands!
our favorite place to stop for a drink. We get to sit right out next to the bikes.
Joe riding my RoadMaster at the end of the night, while I rode his Elgin, which by the way is an incredibly smooth, quiet ride.
Next time we ride Hartford we need more of you local guys out there!
