Quill seatposts?

Does anyone have a bike that uses a quill seatpost? They are quite rare.

I used a quill stem to make a layback seatpost. Does that count? I don't have a picture of mine, but here is my inspiration. Might have come from a GuitarCarl bike.

I have two stems that came off bikes that didnt require them .

Bridgestone Kabukis have them. No seatpost clamp bolts.

The styles sure have changed in the last 70 years . But the same
principle , no clamp required . The 40s and 50s Hiawtha's used them .

You have to remove the seat to raise the post.

I'm not sure if you are looking for this specifically or trying to solve a problem, but another solution for a frame without a binder bolt is an external seatpost clamp—way cheaper and easier (and less likely to break) than the video, though you're seatpost minimum height will be about an inch higher.

I am not looking for a solution. I want to see who has one.

My '54 Shelby Flyer has one.

Looks like CWC ( AMF , Roadmaster , Shelby ) built bikes used them a lot in the 50's .
