Raleigh BB help

I am trying to get the fixed cone (chain side) out of this 63' Raleigh/Huffy and its way stuck, is it left hand thread? I never worked on English bikes before... :roll:

Just pulled a bb from an early 70's Phillips this morning, should have the same hand thread. Non drive side, counter clockwise, drive side clockwise.

You might soak it with a little pb blaster to help loosen it up.

got it!! that PB Blaster is the goods! well that and a hammer... :lol:
