Here's some pics of my Rat Stretched Huffy ElDorado. It's a bolt on stretch modification I started late last year and just perfected today. Super stable, pretty easy to do and gives the bike a killer stance. Was just barely able to get the chain to clear the seat stays without bending the original frame.

THIS IS FASCINATING. I saw this in your Facebook post and couldn't get enough. I have a few frames headed for scrap that just might possibly work for the extension part, but they're not really tall, so I don't know if the angles would work out. I need to get out in the garage and do a feasibility study...

I used two sticks to get the lengths and approximate angles, then wandered over to the scrap pile to see if anything was even close. If you don't go as low as mine is, it'll be a whole lot easier finding something that will work

How did you flatten the tubes of the extension where they are drilled for bolts?
With a 4lb rounding hammer. Didn't have a torch when I built this, otherwise it would have been smoother and easier

Hi, Le Mad Hatter, I saw your bike too on FB yesterday. I will copy the idea for sure. These pictures should be in the "how to" section too. This opens a lot of possibilities for build direction and tire choices.
Another perk in addition to the stretch is it would convert a frame vertical dropouts to horizontal, or vise versa.

Or even 20/24" to 26" wheels
