rat fink bike

i have a chance to buy a first issue rat fink,i know the 1rst issue was quite different than the later ones,it is a 3 speed model,any thoughts on if its more desierable than the later ones?

yes but the seat has a blacl mark on ir and a small tear,thats whats holdin me back,been foe sale here 4 a coupl years just raised rge peice from $375 to $395 when i asked,wont budge on the price,does it look like the pedalcrank is out of thr chain ring?

That is very fair price on that one. It still has the Fattio whitewall that are discontinued.
That mark on the seat can be cleaned with some careful GoofOff. I raffled my white seat for $150 on it's own.
Those chainrings have two holes, so you can choose the orientation of the Rat.
It all appears to be there and is in good condition. If you like it, you should buy it!!!!!

the seats kinda a deal braker 4 me,if it just needed to be cleaned but the tear is tough to make nice,and its a flip 4 me so that would make it hard,they have been tryin to sell it for 3 years here so it would have to be a flp and ship,the margin isnt there

Agreed, some might be interested in the bike, not as concerned about margins

i asked,they are not interested in shipping,boxing and shipping that big of a bike would be expensive,their not only big this one is the steel frame one the follow up bikes are aluminum frames
