Found this at an antique store, and had to have it. I believe it's from the mid 70's.

ain't that from a vintage bmx ? i think i heard of redline bmx parts or bikes ... very nice! i would also love to own it :)
 
Red Line was one of the higher end BMX bike brands. I think they started in the early 70's. In the 80's their 3 piece Flight cranks were just about the most popular cranks around.
 
That stem is from the very early BMX components - not many of them where made - they r hard to find and very desirable for many of us. I been looking for one for a couple years. I'm able to find occasionally, but never for under $100. NICE FIND! Congrats-J
 
I've seen those stems hit $350 on the bay. Had one on my last 20"- around 79
 
I've had a few people ask about it, but I no longer have it. I sold it on eBay, and it went for more than $350.
 
It's not in the for sale section, it's in Vintage BMX. It's not an item you see everyday.
