Decided to drag the Goodyear Hi-Way Patrol, Columbia Built bike from the wreckage and build RetroWreckTion.

Still in the early planning stages and have no idea where this build is going.

Re: RetroWreckTion

Well... The parts you do have are a good start... Good luck!!!

Re: RetroWreckTion

Geez, nothing like a little pressure! I thought I had the full 3 months.

Re: RetroWreckTion

A early stage mockup. Going to try and not paint the frame or parts; just steel wool & clear coat; we shall see.

Re: RetroWreckTion

Fabbed a headlight and added some bars; slow but moving forward.

Nice looking bars! They give it a good stance.

Are they modern or what are they from? They look quite long after the bends and I like that look.

Herr_Rudolph,

No, it's a converted garden light and aluminum dish strainer; the inside light is a standard battery puck light. When you turn it on the light comes thru the pinholes on the dish strainer.

Re: RetroWreckTion, Update

Here are some parts for the build: copper grips, small seat compartment, tail light and chain guard. Working on the tank, fenders, wheels & seat.

Great build. The parts are sick. Keep it up.

SkillstheBarber:

The rivets are plaing steel; hand painted the color.

JakeSensi: Thanks for the props; hope to have more stuff completed soon (really moving slow).

Re: RetroWreckTion

Yeah, the army WWII helmet finish gave me the inspiration. The texture is salt; used it to mimic rust in past builds.

Not really going for the Steam look; more early 20th century.
