I did some trading with a buddy to get this Ross Piranha. I believe it is a 1985. It also appears to be NOS, as there are no signs of it ever being assembled. It does have the headset cups and bottom bracket cups pressed in, so that may dis-qualify it from being true NOS, but it does not matter to me as I am going to build it. It does suffer from some shelf wear on the decals. The fork also shows no signs of ever being used, but the chrome is not as nice and shiny as the frame. I also got two Ross stems, one that I will use. It is going to sit nicely next to my 1984 Blue Max, my 1983 National Sport Wheels, and my 1984 Stu Thomsen Huffy. If I could only find a Competition Certified team Murray, my department store BMX collection would be complete.
