This years theme seems to be battling on in spite.

Gloomy day all smokey ,had to take a fresh air break for lunch.
I guess since I am down to the wire, whatever gets bolted on stays ! S for fenders it gets a light weight fender up front and a front stingray fender in back.

and as done as it gets for this build off !
Far from what I had in mind at the start yet I think its cool, full fenders were not in the cards so shorties it is, the cross brace bars were to narrow for me so just the standard Toringtons for comfort. I found myself really stressing over the wheels as I planned to build a pair for this bike so I ended up sanding and painting my mock up rear wheel its a drop center with a Morrow hub but a tough one to get stopped. I used a BMX layback seat post so plenty of adjustment for the grandkids. I just cleaned up and lubet the original pedals and used the crank from the other Colsonas well as the fork, the rods are from a ladies Hawthorne and I really wanted to get the chain gaurd on but it needs more work than I could do this w/e
I did have some fun and also some frustration building the bike mostly from the health issues ....Its all good !
