Silver King

I found this bike in my great aunt's barn.
Can anyone help tell me what it is worth? Someone offered me $250, but I thought that was too low.
(The seat is (obviously) not original.)

I would guess around 500-700 maybe.
The big ticket part that it has on it, is that butterfly kickstand. That alone is a few hundred dollars.
The fork is not right for that bike, but the truss rods are. The fenders look to be correct too. Seat is wrong. I can't tell about the chainguard.

KF is on top of these things, but I got a girl's SK not to long ago in equivalent condition for under around a hundo. I don't see that kind of value in a girl's SK...but, it could be market dependant.

You have a few money" parts there. The truss rods, those triple drop hoops, bet you they have double butted spokes (Torrington), that crank and chainwheel, the headbadge of course. It is just a few parts shy of complete. The trouble with girls silver king is the least valuable part is the frame. I have seen just the truss rods sell for $250. Those correct fenders too. You have to look at what the parts that can be put on a men's frame are worth pieced out to really assign a value. Girl's forks wind up in the spare parts bin with frames when people don't know how to cut them shorter to fit. I picked up girls just frames for $30 from friends who do part them out. Yes I also have those kind of friends. I mean even the seatpost is saleable. Are those Davis" tires? $$$
