Post any bike that has been converted to a singlespeed or a fixed gear using any method. The bikes have to be originally multi speeds, but they were turned into singlespeeds or fixed gears.

1986 Miyata 610 conversion. My favorite singlespeed in the whole world, and one of my two favorite bikes in the whole world.

Here's my Schwinn Continental, it was a complete mess when I get my hands on it. It's now got a rack on the back and I've got gum walls going on. Looking forward to some warmer weather to put some miles on this thing. The few trips around the neighborhood have been a blast though

Over the last 12 or so years I’ve done more single speed conversions then I could count.
Here’s one of the more recent that I held onto. My grocery getter-

And one I did for a friend on last minute notice for his wife’s birthday-

    Both were originally ten speeds.

I am working on another one.

Here is my cruising/cyclocross singlespeed. I have been riding it with flipped bars because it just ads to the comfort. The bike already has fat tires and a large seat.

The Miyata got new cranks, but the chainring and chainring bolts are rusted together. I am going to upgrade those as well.

Thanks! You've done some really good work yourself!
I still need to figure out how I want to wrap the bars, but other than that it's done. Ohh, and I need the weather to break 40 degrees so I can make it my daily driver again.

What's the gearing on the white Peugeot? It looks massive.

Haha, yeah it was, but I believe I used a 19t cog for it.

It's the original chainring and it just looked so bad ... on there.
